How can i enter serpentshrine cavern
Swim through to the other side to emerge with the summoning stone in front of you. The instance portal is hidden behind a large waterfall in the center of the Reservoir. When you have completed the attunement quest you will be able to interact with a panel near the waterfall disabling the wall of water and allowing you to walk into the instance portal.
Serpentshrine Cavern is filled with trash mobs that can be quite dangerous if not managed correctly. Below we will include the most deadly mobs and how you should handle each of them. Coilfang Hate-Screamer s can be found along the way to the first boss and are by far the most important mob to kill in these early trash packs. The Silence ability will silence everyone within 30 yards of the mob, rendering them unable to cast, and also deals large damage with Sonic Scream.
Focusing down the Hate-Screamer is a high priority as the other mobs found in these packs can easily be tanked and ignored. Just make sure to pay attention to where the mobs are facing as the Coilfang Beast-Tamer s found in the same pack can cleave! Underbog Colossi can be found patrolling all throughout the instance and are very dangerous, so it is extremely important to keep track of them to ensure you do not have to fight them while dealing with another trash pack.
The Underbog Colossus is unique in that each colossus will have a random pair of abilities; the possible combinations include:. The Greyheart Tidecaller has three abilities, all of which are important to handle correctly.
The most important of their abilities is summoning a Water Elemental Totem; the Water Elemental spawned by this totem will despawn if you kill the totem. It is important to focus the totem itself and not the Water Elemental. Poison Shield is a buff that the Greyheart Tidercaller will cast on themselves and it must be purged as quickly as possible.
Arcane Lightning deals a moderate amount of damage and silences everyone hit by it, so spreading helps mitigate this effect. Much like the Underbog Colossus mentioned earlier, there are different types of Greyheart Nether-Mage s. This is one of the few instances where the end boss is female. Unlike the dungeon instances in this underwater area, the raid doesn't give any rep which is a shame. Unlike other pre- Wrath of the Lich King raids, this dungeon had two achievements possible, the first being to complete the dungeon and the second being to fish up and kill the Lurker.
You will of course have to wait for the Lich King expansion to receive the achievement. There are a total of 6 bosses in this instance and they are listed below in order of encounter as you progress through the raid. There's no register feature and no need to give an email address if you don't need to. Blood elf Broken Naga. It is a man raid instance with six bosses, culminating with Lady Vashj herself.
Shortly after the Third War, when Illidan requested the aid of the naga, a group of naga led by Lady Vashj answered his call. Ever since, Vashj has displayed a fierce dedication to Illidan. Now the naga witch carefully monitors Coilfang's operations from her seat of power within Serpentshrine Cavern.
Far more at home here among the waters of the reservoir than locked within the cold stone walls of Black Temple, Vashj maintains a close eye on her minions and personally oversees the draining of Zangarmarsh.
Whether her loyalties belong to Illidan alone, however, remains to be seen. There is no required boss order in this zone, as there are several paths from the zone-in to Lady Vashj. The main 'cavern' is composed of a collection of large bridges and platforms above water.
By using waterwalking you can start pretty much anywhere. But, of course, it is a little more complicated than just that.
So, you need to be in a raiding guild that can successfully clear these 3 raids and has its members a good amount of gear from these places. So, don't think that you can pug SSC. I doubt even some of the most well geared guilds can do this easily, let alone 25 strangers without Vent and all in crappy dungeon set 3 armor. Comment by Thottbot makes sense that you have do do kara and gruul for attune, if you're guild can't do it then they obv aren't ready for ssc.
Comment by Thottbot Attunement has already been removed. My guild clears kara with 4 seperate groups every week. All almost fully geared out. The trick to this dungeon for the most part is not only well geared players in a good guild There are Bog Lord looking things in there that blast you with acid for k damage with low NR.
Anyway, this dungeon is a 25 man dungeon and is located in Zangarmarsh down by the other instances down there. It's the waterfall in the middle : Good luck witht his one guys. This could change, I myself find the names ridiculously long on PTR, it's rather annoying, but I don't see why they would.
After all, I think it's more annoying to the people who don't do their homework and do these attunement quests to find that their is no real reward, certainly adding a title isn't on par with getting the right to go into these sweet 25mans, but it softens the blow. Comment by Thottbot hours. Comment by Thottbot Umm i know this is kinda sad hehe but.. Comment by Thottbot after patch 2. Comment by Thottbot How well should ure main tank be geared? Comment by Thottbot What are the suggested healer stats esp.
I have the T4 helm and gloves. Is this realistic? Comment by Thottbot realistic enough to pug ZA for the first bosses. SSC is not really puggable, but its possible i guess Comment by Thottbot im trying to figure out how many people are needed for this raid Please keep the following in mind when posting a comment: Your comment must be in English or it will be removed.
