Raquel aurilia how can i

She can't wait for her fans to hear the record. I'm ready to go. She said the album-making process involves a lot more than just recording the songs. Everything goes into the booklet, so you want to make sure that gets done, such as the credits for the writers and the musicians. There are a lot of details that take time, and you have to go over them with a fine-tooth comb. Even with your photos, you have to pick the right ones for the album, so in all, it's a very big process.

It can be a little tedious, but it's all worth it. I really just left it up to him. On each song, he would say, 'I know the right guy for this. I would go to Franklin and stay a week at a time, and get a few songs done each time.

I grew to love it there. Every step of the way, I got to watch, from keys to drums to bass. I got to go in and see the process of each piece of the puzzle being put together.

That was really fun for me, so different. She says she appreciates the creative vibe that you find in the Nashville area. There's something about the culture here that feels really nice and warm. Every studio that we went into had this really warm vibe, with old wooden floors that would creek when you walk.

I thought that was really cool. That's what gives it that wonderful sound, that really authentic feel. Long Way Home features the cream of the crop of Nashville musicians, including Andy Leftwich, a longtime fiddle player with Ricky Skaggs.

Leftwich definitely caught Aurilia's attention. He walked into the studio and took out his violin, heard the music, and started playing beautifully. I was just in awe. Having someone just walk in and do that was a very amazing experience.

The singer feels this album is more representative of where she is in her life than her previous projects. We did other people's songs on the first album, and it was fun to go in and get my feet wet, but this was a lot different. I feel very good about how it came out. Songwriting is something that Aurilia -- who has opened for acts ranging from B.

King to John Waite to Riders in the Sky -- takes very seriously. If my music can touch even one person, that means so much to me and motivates me to keep writing and singing. As long as I am passionate about what I do, giving up is not an option. Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community? I listened to several songs and the way they were written and then started putting my ideas down in similar formats until it felt right. It was so cool to know that I was actually now writing my own music and never even knew I could.

It has been a great learning process for me and I feel that my writing has gotten better with each song. The music industry is a tough industry and I have learned a lot along the way. You have to really trust the people you choose to work with and make sure they are legitimate.

Not everyone is who the say they are so you have to be careful when you decide to work with people. I have learned this the hard way. Now, I do my homework when I am approached to collaborate or to work with someone with. My career has been a work in progress and continues to be.

I am always trying to re-invent things by collaborating with different people and music styles. Stepping outside your comfort zone sometimes can really expand your career and your audience. Even now with the pandemic, finding ways to record from home has been so important to keep that momentum going! I started my career later in life and have no regrets because my music and lyrics are what they are because I have experienced more.

Had I started younger, I may not have had as much to say. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary — say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc. There are so many cool places to visit here in Arizona. Such a good workout! On the weekends they usually have live music during brunch which is really cool. They have the coolest spa and amenities and the pool is awesome! I love the ambience there and the Pomegranate Margaritas and tableside Guacamole are awesome!!

Great food in general.
